For more than a year and a half Nittany and I have enjoyed the Lower Allen dog park. We have met many wonderful dogs and their people. I thought it might be fun to start a Blog for those of us that frequent the park. Please join our blog and feel free to post your thoughts about the park and park happenings. This is Nittany’s favorite place in the world and I have met some great owners at the park. I value the friendships Nittany and I have made.

What a wonderful idea to start a blog for all the regulars at the LA dog park. Bear and I have been going to the park for the past 2.5 years. When Bear was smaller he ran around a lot more then he does now. It seems as he gets older he gets calmer and now is content to patrol and monitor the other dogs activities when he's at the park. He's more like the sheriff now keeping everyone else in control. I hope others who are regulars at the park join the blog. It's a great way of getting to know each other instead of just being "Bear's mom" or "Nittany's mom".
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the blog. I started bringing the now 2 year old Curtis to the park right after I got him. He too seems to prefer wandering around and greeting everyone now as opposed to the extreme wrestling in which he and some of the other puppies used to engage.
ReplyDeleteNow that I have 3 "best friends" going to the park is even more fun, the newest Tikaani is still getting used to the place and the other dogs, but fitting in quickly, Duke and Koda make it easier.
ReplyDeleteYeager and marlow love this park. Without it my house would be destroyed! They have made so many friends at this park along with mike and I. The people and dogs that visit the park are amazing.

ReplyDeleteThis Sunday front st Harrisburg, Woofstock, thousands of dogs, great food, drinks, vendors, adoptable dogs, and the grateful dog walk which starts on city island at 10am registration starts at 8:45am. Duke, Koda, Tikaani, my wonderful wife Jodi and myself are going to be there. Now 3 dogs to drag us at speed through the walk.
After Woofstock Duke, Koda, Tikaani and I will definitely be at the park for an afternoon of playing. Hope to see as many dogpark friends at both places Sunday.
